Oceanis 30.1 – Award-Winning Performance

The Beneteau Oceanis 30.1 is the latest 30-ft cruiser in the longstanding and successful Oceanis range, and winner of the 2020 Cruising World ‘Boat of the Year’ award. With an abundance of beauty, comfort and sailing performance, this seventh generation monohull promises easy sailing and new adventures on the water. Designed by architect Pascal Conq and Nauta Design with a focus on simplicity of use, the 30.1 also boasts a sleek and well-proportioned style, and unbeatable living space for its size. 

Proving to be both accessible and flexible in capabilities – the Oceanis 30.1 sailboat is available in a swing keel and rotating mast version that’s perfect for trailering, or for cruising canals and rivers.

Superior responsive sailing

Performance and handling in all points of sail are optimized with a slender bow and exceptionally balanced weight, and a square-top mainsail. New sailors, or those short-handed, will find the Oceanis 30.1 a joy to sail, aided by the self-tacking jib and a single winch. Additionally, the twin rudders lend to its precise and responsive handling.

Thoughtfully designed options

Owners accustomed to dinghy sailing can choose the version with a tiller on double rudders. Or choose the double steering station version for maximum space in the cockpit. 

A choice of 3 ballasts is also available; the Deep draft, Shallow draft, or a Performance draft with hydraulic swing keel.

The comfortable cockpit is surprisingly spacious,with bench seating and folding table to seat up to 6 guests, and leisure time is further enhanced by an optional fold down swim platform.

The Oceanis 30.1 specs also include Seanapps mobile app technology for convenient monitoring of the yacht’s information on your smartphone, including tank levels and maintenance scheduling.

Below, Beneteau managed to achieve stellar volume in the salon and cabins, as well as an impressive headspace of 6.9 feet at midship, and 6.5 feet in the standing areas throughout. The well-lit interior space features double bench seats and a drop-leaf table for dining. Adjacent to the  fold-down chart table desk top that also provides storage for paperwork.

The efficient galley features a stainless sink, refrigerator, double burner stovetop with an oven below. 

The two double cabins sleep 4 people very comfortably, and the two benches in the salon were designed to serve as additional berths for 2 people.
